Excellent podcast on Stocism

Having gotten even further through this podcast, I thought I'd return to update my review and say that it has only gotten better over time.

Tanner started off reading through Meditations and adding his own commentary, then later started gradually introducing Seneca and Epictetus (if you don't know who they are yet, don't worry, Tanner introduces them when it makes sense to).
Tanner experimented and learned over time. He tried at one point to put something out every day and collaborate with other podcasters and Stoic academics, but listened to feedback and scaled it back to something more manageable.
I've listened through to the beginning of 2024 so far, and up to this point Tanner has interviewed a lot of interesting and quite well known Stoic authors like Donald J. Robertson and Kai Whiting, which has been fantastic to listen to. I've listened to Robertson's books on Audible too thanks to this introduction.
There is a Patreon and free Discord community, though I haven't taken part in either, sounds great and I'm sure would be worth it if you really get into the philosophy.
Tanner just seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Tanner is about to take a paternity break (congrats Tanner!) so now would be a great time to catch up if you're just discovering this podcast.
